Adult-Oriented Sport Coaching Survey – Coaches (AOSCS-C)
Through our research, the following five themes have come out as being relevant for understanding the psychological and social aspects of coaching Masters athletes. Our research indicates that these are a toolbox for coach reflection and coaches can choose when and how to apply these concepts with their athletes depending on the context and what makes sense to them (Rathwell et al., 2020), here are some things you can consider:
If you would like to know about your Masters athletes’ preferences of how often they would like you to apply these concepts into your coaching, you can direct them to complete the preferences version of the Adult-Oriented Coaching Survey (AOSCS-P).
If you would like to know how often your Masters athletes perceive that you apply these concepts to their coaching, you can direct your athletes to complete the athlete version of the Adult-Oriented Coaching Survey (AOSCS-A).
